I'm 53 years old, and entered menopause at age 47. I have 70 pounds to lose and it's so much harder now since I've entered menopause. Can any diet help menopausal women lose weight?


A slower metabolism is an unfortunate part of the aging process. In fact, the average woman needs to exercise more and eat less in order to stay the exact same weight! Dietary changes are definitely important for weight loss, but increasing physical activity and exercising at least 150 minutes per week will help to keep weight off.
