Ask the Nurse

I am 63 years old and I’ve had only one colonoscopy when I was age 50. Everything was fine, so how often should I have a colonoscopy?

March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. For average risk women we recommend they get a colonoscopy every 10 years, so you are overdue. Please contact your physician to get a colonoscopy scheduled.
