I was diagnosed with fat necrosis in the left breast. It can be somewhat painful at times. Will this ever go away or is it something I will just have to live with? I have had repeat mammograms stating no cancer, along with ultrasound.
Fat necrosis of the breast is not uncommon. It should resolve over time. If you have pain or swelling you should see a medical breast specialist. Wear a supportive bra, avoid trauma to the area and avoid excessive caffeine.
