I am on topical, bioidentical estrogen and progesterone creams. I still get vaginal dryness and itching and urinary tract infections. Is there anything else I can do to alleviate those symptoms?
There are local vaginal treatments that can be used to help with vaginal dryness such as:
- Creams
- Tablets
- Vaginal ring
The treatment would likely help with your frequent urinary tract infections as well.
Progesterone creams are not FDA approved for the use to help protect your uterus if you are on estrogen therapy.
