Before my period begins, I experience digestion issues, including gas and diarrhea. How can I prevent or minimize these issues?

Digestive issues before a woman's period is not uncommon. The gas and bloating are due to hormones. I would recommend eating less gas producing foods around the time of your menses, which may or may not help. You can always try gas-X or another medication of this type for this.
