I was wondering if I could use multiple vaginal estrogen therapies on alternating days? I cannot use the new DHEA Medicine (Intrarosa®).


There are several options for treating the symptoms of vaginal atrophy, dryness and painful sexual activity. These include:

In most cases, there is no need to use more than one of these treatments at the same time. If you do not like one option, try another. If your symptoms do not improve over time, it is best to see your doctor for a pelvic exam. The exam will make sure that there is no other cause for your symptoms.
