Are there different sizes of the ApexM?
There is one ApexM (Automatic Pelvic Exerciser-M) size, however based on inflation it can be customized.
ApexM can be obtained either via a prescription if one has a flexible spending account or can be purchased over the counter without a prescription. However, we think it’s best to have a health care provider instruct and have a teaching session with you in the office first. The provider can also help you figure out what direction (North, South or East, West) gives you the best sensations and pelvic muscle strengthening.
For women with a smaller vagina the InToneMV is a much smaller device (link to vaginal boot camp) and gives the same two pelvic stimulations to treat:
- Stress leakage
- Urge leakage
- Mixed urine leakage
Since the InToneMV is so small, but has an inflatable balloon it can be used rectally to treat fecal incontinence as well.
